Course
The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a master's degree in business administration (management). The core courses in an MBA program cover various areas of business such as accounting, applied statistics, business communication, business ethics, business law, finance, managerial economics, management, marketing and operations in a manner most relevant to management analysis and strategy.
This is a two-year full time course comprising of four semesters. The SSMS's Institute of Management and Research is affiliated to the Savitribai Phule Pune University (Formerly known as University of Pune) and MBA program is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi.

The Master of Business Administration (MBA or M.B.A.) is a two-year full time course comprising of four semesters.
Eligibility Criteria
A graduate from any statutory University will be eligible to apply.
A Bachelor’s degree in any faculty of any statutory University with minimum 50% or more marks for students belonging to Open category and 45% or more marks for students belonging to SC, ST/DT, NT, OBC or SBC category or person with disability from Maharashtra state only.
Must have completed selection procedure as prescribed by the competent authority from time to time. The Candidate must have cleared the common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by The State Government (DTE, Mumbai) or any of the following entrance exams: ATMA /CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT
Assessment
Each Generic Core Course is a Full Credit course of 45 hours 35 hours shall be devoted to teaching – learning sessions and 10 hourse for evaluation. 30 marks shall be reserved for concurrent evaluation to be carried out by the Institute, 20 marks for online mid term evaluation to be conducted by the University and 50 marks shall be term end sessional written examination to be conducted by the University.
Each Generic Elective Course is a Half Credit course of 30 hours. Out of 30 hours 25 hours shall be devoted to teaching – learning sessions and 5 hourse for evaluation. 50 marks shall be devoted for concurrent evaluation to be carried out by the institute. The Internal Assessment and Examination is Controlled BY Chief Examination Officer
